Democracy Delivery Gap Index (DDGI) v0.1
The DDGI measures whether democratic quality translates into public service delivery. A positive score means democracy is ahead of delivery. A negative score means delivery outpaces democratic quality.
Methodology: V-Dem v16 (liberal democracy and electoral democracy, equally weighted), WGI 2025 (government effectiveness), WDI (infant mortality inverted, electricity access, water access, secondary school enrollment). 30 emerging markets, 2010-2023.
